How we count
Where every number on this site comes from, and what it leaves out.

Prices
We use UK recommended retail prices from official stores (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, Apple and Google), including VAT, checked on the date shown. Sale prices are temporary, so we don't use them in the maths; the money guides explain when sales usually happen.
Hours
Hours are estimated ranges, never single numbers. They're based on published sources such as publisher statements and community completion-time aggregators, named on each page. "Finish the main game" covers the main story or goal; "fuller play" covers most players' extended time. Open-ended games get a sensible range with an explanation.
The maths
£ per hour = lowest verified UK RRP ÷ hours. We show a range (more hours means a lower cost per hour) and rank the board by the midpoint between finishing the main game and fuller play.
What we don't claim
Our pages are compiled from published prices and data, not from our own play time, and we don't present them as reviews. "Bargain", "solid" and "pricey" describe cost per hour only; they are our editorial rule of thumb, not a quality score.
Corrections
Prices change constantly. Email us with the page and what you see, and we'll re-check and update the date.
